Terms

Terms of service

These terms need legal review before launch.
What follows reflects the decisions actually made about how the work runs, so it is a real starting point rather than filler. It is not legal advice and has not been reviewed. Australian Consumer Law guarantees apply to services regardless of anything written here, and nothing below is intended to exclude them.

Quotes and scope

Outside the fixed-price offers, every project is quoted individually. The quote covers the scope described in it. Anything added afterwards is quoted separately and agreed before it is started.

The 7-Day Website

$2,000.

Payment. 50% to book your build week, 50% before the site goes live. The deposit holds your slot and is non-refundable once the week is booked.

The timeline. Day 0 is the day every piece of information, content, image and login I've asked for has landed. If I'm waiting on you for something, the clock pauses until it arrives.

If I run over. If I run over and it isn't because I'm waiting on you, you take 10% off the balance for every day I'm late. At ten days late the balance is nothing and the site is yours for the deposit.

Revisions. 2 rounds are included within the build week. A round means one consolidated set of feedback, not a trickle of individual messages.

What is not included. Online stores and payments, Custom software or databases, Membership or login systems, Writing your content from scratch, Sites running to dozens of pages, Complex integrations with systems you already run. None of this is off the table. It's just a different job with a different price, so it gets quoted properly instead of being squeezed into a week.

Ownership

On final payment, the website and its content are yours. The domain is registered in your name, in your own account. Hosting is set up in your name. Any third-party fonts, images or services used are licensed rather than owned, and you will be told which those are.

After launch

Genuine faults in the first fortnight after launch are fixed at no charge. Changes after that are quoted. There is no ongoing retainer unless you ask for one.
