None of this is off the table. It's just a different job with a different price, so it gets quoted properly instead of being squeezed into a week.

The week
How seven days actually works.
Day 0 is the day every piece of information, content, image and login I've asked for has landed. If I'm waiting on you for something, the clock pauses until it arrives.
A short call, then I send you a list of everything I need: content, images, logins, the lot.
Everything has landed. The week starts.
I build it. You don't need to do anything.
You see it, and send me one consolidated set of changes.
Changes made. Second look, second set if you need it.
Live.
If I'm late, you pay less.
If I run over and it isn't because I'm waiting on you, you take 10% off the balance for every day I'm late. At ten days late the balance is nothing and the site is yours for the deposit.
The next build weeks
When I can start.
Dates move as weeks fill. If nothing here suits, send your details and I'll tell you what's next.
Questions
The things people ask.
Yes, but the clock starts the day everything I've asked for has landed: content, images, logins, the lot. If I'm waiting on you, it pauses. That's the only honest way to promise a week.
If I'm late and it isn't because I'm waiting on you, you take 10% off the balance for every day I'm over. At ten days late the balance is nothing and the site is yours for the deposit. I'd rather write that down than hope it never comes up.
A short call, then send me a list of things. After that, not much until day five, when you look at it and send me your changes.
Yes. On final payment the site and its content are yours, in your own accounts, with your own domain. I'm not holding your website hostage.
Hosting is usually free to very cheap for a site this size, and your domain is roughly what you already pay. I'll tell you the real numbers before launch, and they go in your name, not mine.
Small things in the first fortnight after launch are on me. After that, tell me what you need and I'll quote it. There's no retainer unless you want one.
I'll tighten what you give me, and that's included. Writing it from scratch is a separate job and I'll quote it separately rather than pretend it fits in a week.
Then don't buy it. Tell me what you actually need and I'll quote that instead.
Let's get your website sorted.
Tell me about the business and what the current site isn't doing. I'll come back with whether this is the right job for you, and when the next build week is.
